Our climate
It is a Mediterranean climate. However the wind called Tramontana (Northern hard wind) modifies a little bit the typical characteristic of this climate.
Temperatures are moderate, with a current average temperature of 16ºC. There are minimum temperatures below 0º C only in winter.
Summer is usually long. During the 4 months- June, July, august and September- the temperature doesn't go lower than 20ºC. Rainfalls range from 500 mm. a year (on the coast) to the 700 mm (in the mountains).
The average rainfall ranges from 200 l/m2 in autumn to 190 l/m2 in spring.
Sunny days are numerous. Cloudiness is scarce and lasts shorter time in summer than in winter.
